Investment Criteria

We invest opportunistically in privately owned established companies that have proven products, market acceptance and a management team that can capitalize on opportunities. Goldenhill is not a fund in a traditional sense and therefore maintains the flexibility to invest in a wider range of industry groups, company sizes and stages, and types of securities. Goldenhill targets companies with enterprise values between $5 million and $30 million. We do not limit ourselves to a narrow set of investment criteria.

We invest in companies by providing growth-stage capital to companies. Goldenhill is almost always the first institutional or professional investor in the companies we back, although second and later round investments are considered where there is demonstrated progress toward market leadership and a complete management team.

Our investments span a number of industry sectors. While we do have a strong penchant for companies in market sectors in which our investment team has specific expertise, we view each company independently for the investment opportunity it presents.
